As I mentioned a few days ago, one of the things I was going to do was unsubscribe from a number of email lists. I have been doing this for the past couple of days and also deleting emails. I have deleted over 1000 emails in the past couple of days.
I also said that I was going to really examine who I want to follow and why – this has helped me release many of the emails. I realized that there have been a few people who have influenced my life in a positive way and for the moment, I am leaving them on my lists. All the others that scream “buy me now” or “check out this new thing” are being eliminated. I need to stay with what works. I need to get back into programs that I didn't finish. This has been a major problem for me.
Do you have a lot of unfinished projects? Books you haven't read, Crafts you started but didn't finish. People you have been meaning to call, etc. I have quite a few of them and I began to work on some of them over the weekend.
I don't like to do nothing when I watch TV, so I knit scarves and hats. On Sunday I gathered up a number of pieces and sewed them together. I actually thought I had a lot more, but when I checked the box of knitted items I realized that I had already put them together. Now I just need to decide where to send them. (i.e. which mission)
I will continue releasing emails from my life to free up my time and energy to move forward more quickly. I will continue to examine what it is I want to accomplish, continue asking myself the BIG question…”Is what I am doing right now moving me forward in my business or my personal life?”. I will set the timer when I visit Facebook so that I don't become entrapped by everything that is going on when I go to check on my friends and family. I will organize my house so that I have less to clean, to maintain, to worry about. (This is an ongoing and very difficult project for me, but one I am determined to do.)
Is there something you need help with? Something you need support to accomplish? If so, please feel free to comment below and I will support you.
To your success
