What are you working on?
I have been doing a lot of thinking about what I want to do in 2023. What is working for me and what isn’t. When I came across an email from Rebecca Holman recently, I realized that I am not the only one and what she wrote in the middle of her email really grabbed me.
“I invested in several “mentors” – mindlessly grabbing for the “magic” solution to grow my business and looking for that one secret that would explode my bank account.
This issue with this is:
- Over consuming is a thing in the online space which leads to over whelm
- Over consuming keeps you stuck and unsure which leads to over whelm
- Over consuming activates the feelings of “not enough” which leads to over whelm
- Over consuming courses often means the person purchasing is NOT TAKING ACTION… just stuck in learning mode
Instead of “needing” more information
Instead of hiding behind perfectionism
Instead of worrying what others might think
What if….
You took messy IMPERFECT action today and claimed that your experience, your current level of growth IS all that is necessary?
We Are Our Own Worst Enemy
Don't get caught up in the concept that you “don't know enough”, you most likely DO know enough.”

I recognized myself in this message. I have been a lifelong learner, always wanting to learn more so that I could share more, but except for helping my career counselling clients, I have not been putting to use much of my other learning. I have a head full of knowledge, but no $$ in my pocket.
Over the past couple of months I have been overwhelmed by the bundles. I have signed up for free bundles, grabbed content like crazy, but I haven’t put any of it to real use. I have hundreds of emails flooding my inbox daily and it’s hard to keep up. I need to do a real cleanse and get serious about deleting what I am not reading and STOP signing up for things just because I think I might use them later.
I recognize the need for systems and lists to keep me better organized. My goal is to create a list of all my passwords, people I am an affiliate for and also the products I have purchased, including when I purchased them and if I have used them. I think this might be a shocking project. However, I have invested in Cindy Bidar's Six Figure System and I will put her advice into place. Today I wrote down what my monthly “absolute” expenses are so I will know how much $$ I have available to me for extras.
Kelly McCausey

One of my mentors, Kelly McCausey, recently sent out a thought provoking email where she asked about “Pursuing Your Sweet Spot”. She asked about what would you love doing for a living, who would you love to serve, and who would you like to be your guide. Read more about it here:
Kelly also released a podcast that I listened to today that was geared towards people like me. Someone who wants to share the knowledge and skills they have learned over the years with people who are seeking that information. I hope this is you as I have lots to share!
Affirmations for 2023
I also came across these affirmations that I needed to hear at this time. Perhaps they will be helpful for you too.
Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful
I am worthy of all good things
Setbacks are just dress rehearsals for success
My past doesn’t set the future – I do
I believe that things can turn out better than expected
Dream + be = a happier me

Remove wine spills with a pinch of salt – Use paper towels to blot the wine, sprinkle salt on the spot and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cold water. Salt will absorb the alcohol. (Leanne Stapf TheCleaningAuthority.com).
Ditch deodorant streaks with makeup remover – use makeup remover on the white spots. They will dissolve the oils and compounds in deodorants. Simply rub the wipe on the stain and it will come out. (Kathy Turley HomeCleanHeroes.com)
How is 2023 looking for you? What are you working on? I hope you will join me. I would love to hear from you.
