Not Good Enough?

For a few years now I have been getting weekly coaching questions from Sandra Abell of Inside Jobs Coaching.  Recently I read a question that sparked me to write this article.

“Do you allow yourself to shine as the star you are?”  …or do you suffer from the “I'm not good enough” complex?

Have you ever thought about starting a blog, only to have that negative thought whisper in you ear, “Who would ever read it?”.

Have you thought about writing a post in Linked-In and once again that negative voice jumps in and says, “Forget it.  No one is going to want to read what you write!”.  So you don't write it and then you read a post exactly like the one you thought about writing.  Or perhaps you read a book that expresses how you feel and you are once again disappointed in yourself, and in comes that negative voice to say, “See, there's someone else out there who can do it better and got it done!”.

Well, it's time to tell Negative Nellie or Negative Ned to get lost.  You have just as much right as anyone else to let your views be known, your voice heard.  Who knows who will be touched by your post, or your article.  You are unique and therefore, your perspective is yours – and it can make a difference.

You are indeed “good enough”, so get out your pen, or sit down at your computer and write.  I look forward to seeing what you have to say.
