How Is Your Breathing?

“We are magnets attracting to ourselves the way we feel at any point in time.
When we feel clear and in control, we will attract circumstances of clarity.
When we feel happy, we will attract circumstances of happiness.
When we feel prosperous, we will attract circumstances of prosperity.
When we feel loved, we will attract circumstances of love.
The way we feel is actually our point of attraction.”
~ Esther Hicks, Ask and It is Given, P 221

By learning how to keep a calm and balanced center, we can learn how to maintain a sense of balance, health, and harmony in the rest of our lives.

Don’t wait until you’re unhealthy to become concerned about your health.  Start when you are still healthy and it will be so much easier to maintain that good health.

To be healthy is not simply a matter of not being ill.  To be healthy is to be balanced, grounded, strong and clear of mind.

The key to good health is moderation in all things, both physically and emotionally.

We get sick when we are moving too fast, when we are not paying attention, when we are ungrounded and unbalanced.

Natural breathing is when we inhale our abdomen expands. Then, on exhalation, it contracts.  This exercises the diaphragm and massages the internal organs, bringing chi blood, and lymph to that area.

To breathe is to live.  To inhale fully is to live fully, to manifest the full range and power of our inborn potential for vitality in everything that we sense, feel, think, and do.  – Dennis Lewis

Many people breathe in a shallow way all the time, thereby keeping themselves in a chronic flight or flight state.  By doing simple breathing exercises, we can change the way we breathe at all times, even when we’re sleeping.
