Addicted Part 2

Did you read the post from yesterday?  Did you read ALL of Mike's message?  It's pretty darn powerful!!

Here is a short summary of what he covered.  If you didn't read it, go here now!

• You could be stuck in the holding pattern of “chasing” the dream or in other words, be addicted to failure so that you can continuously feed your body the energy that gives you a sense of purpose and meaning that chasing the dream provides because it feels good! (hope, excitement, inspiration, etc..)
• It’s NOT a character flaw, it IS the way humans are designed to work,
• You are governed by the laws of nature and nature doesn’t judge anything, it
only seeks balance, at any cost to either side of the scale
• You don’t ever stop trying, you just keep starting over after the “rush of feel
good juice” fades away
• You’re a bio-chemical machine and machines require energy to work
• You have 3 main energy sources: Mental, Emotional, and Physical
• The process of creating your life is always the same
• Repetition of creating your life creates habits that govern your life
• It all begins with what “mental fuel” you put in the machine

If you want to make positive changes in your life, you CAN do it.  It will take work.  It will take knowing more about yourself.  But you can be supported along the way.  Click here to learn more.

P.S.  ““There is a scary and vulnerable space in growth where your old life doesn’t fit and your new life isn’t fully developed and it’s in that space that 90% of people quit on themselves…”

While on a path of growth, it's easy to go back to what you know because you’re designed to, even if you don't like it there. But moving forward into a place you DON'T know takes massive courage.

Transformation in your life is only partially about the physical results you experience and those are commendable but it's the unseen stuff that really deserves praise, respect, and admiration. The inner mental and emotional battle people fight through to transform their lives is one of the most intense, personal, admirable, and powerful experiences a human being can have.

No one else knows what kind of crazy chatter is going on in your melon, and you can be surrounded by 10,000 people but feel utterly alone! You can and should have support but even with support, there are only 2 people in that metaphorical “boxing ring” slugging it out. You and the “other you”.

Who you are now, and the person you want to become. And who you are now is ALWAYS the stronger side when you first start out because you've given so much time and energy creating that person.

And ANYONE who goes the distance in that fight and makes it out of that ring victorious, deserves MASSIVE props and praise (although they wont need it at that point).”
